"Boiler Tube Holes Drilled on Special Hydraulic Machine
For drilling the tube holes in large express-type boiler drums the national Automatic Tool Co., Richmond, Ind., has recently furnished a special hydraulic vertical drilling machine that is an adaptation of the standard Natco model D20H driller and is equipped with a semi-automatic Oil-gear feed arranged with the company's patented safety foot control and emergency reverse. Drilling of 12 1 1/2-in holes in steel at a heavy feed is within the capacity of the machine.
The machine is approximately 16 ft. high, and weighs about 38,000lb."
